Local business owner severely injured in freak accident. Here’s how to help
A seemingly routine construction project in Canton on Sept. 9 was marred by a freak accident that resulted in the amputation of a leg for one of the two construction workers/business owners working at the site.
While constructing a patio in the backyard of Canton resident Colleen Przybyla, Garrett Bone was struck by a car that veered off the roadway and into Pryzbyla’s yard. Bone was working with his brother and business partner, Scott Bone.
“My dad is now facing a long road to recovery with losing his leg from this accident,” Kyle Bone, Garrett’s son, posted on Facebook. “Along with learning how to walk and drive again, their concrete and landscape business will be greatly affected.”
GoFundMe account started
Przybyla launched a GoFundMe.com account to help the brothers’ business survived during the aftermath of the tragedy.
“Garrett’s injuries are significant and life changing,” Przybyla wrote on the GoFundMe page. “The brothers’ business has been jeopardized causing uncountable losses.”
