Busch’s has completed a significant transformation of its Canton store.

The store, which has been open since 2017, has added an additional 1,600-plus items to its center store assortment.

In addition to new grocery items, the store will also now carry an expanded selection of household, wellness and nutrition offerings.

Ribbon-cutting ceremony upcoming

There will be a celebratory ribbon-cutting on Sept. 4 at 10 a.m. when there will also be the launch of a special 10-day sale which includes many giveaways including free Hudsonville Ice Cream, free eggs and free produce, along with deep discounts.

Highlights of transformation

  • Expanded grocery and everyday essentials assortment with more than 1,600 new items, creating a more complete one-stop shopping experience for guests.
  • Improved frozen department flow with realigned aisles creating a more natural shopping path from frozen foods into dairy.
  • Upgraded center store shelving for a cleaner, more seamless presentation and improved use of selling space.
  • Extended select grocery aisles to maximize product space and accommodate the expanded assortment.
  • Relocated Frozen Bakery adjacent to the Bakery department for a more intuitive shopping experience.
  • Refinished store flooring to provide a fresh, clean shopping environment.

The schedule of upcoming events for Canton guests will be:

  • Sept. 4 at 10 a.m.: Ribbon cutting
  • Sept. 12 and 13: Local vendor celebration – meet more than 30 local vendor partners, hear the stories behind their brands and sample a variety of locally made products
  • Sept. 19: 150-pound swordfish cutting event. Learn about the different premium cuts and watch an expert break down the fish from start to finish
  • Oct. 3 and 4: JB’s BBQ Fest. Canton Busch’s is known for its outstanding BBQ.  Enjoy fresh-off-the-grill BBQ served on the front porch (Grill Fest style) and bring the family to meet the Canton Fire Department during the Touch-a-Fire-Truck event.
