Lincoln Park business sells $1 million scratch-off

A Wayne County woman is looking forward to “living easier” after winning $1 million playing the Michigan Lottery’s Lady Luck 777 instant game.

“While I was cashing out at the store, I saw the Lady Luck 777 ticket and asked the clerk how many were left on the roll,” said the lucky 63-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous. “There were only three left, so I bought them all.

“I scratched the tickets and saw I’d won on all three of them, but I didn’t scratch off the amounts. I scanned them at the store and the first came back as a $100 winner, the second a $50 winner, and the third came back with a message to file a claim at the lottery office.

Clerk said: ‘Must have a big winner’

“I asked the clerk what it meant, and he said I must have a big winner.

The $1000000 ticket was sold at this Lincoln Park business

“I went out to my car and scratched the amount to find out I’d won $1 million! The first thought that went through my head was that I can live easier now.”

The player bought her winning ticket at AAA Fuels, located at 3860 Dix Highway in Lincoln Park. She recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim the big prize.

She chose to receive her prize as a one-time lump sum payment of about $693,000 rather than annuity payments for the full amount. With her winnings, she plans to buy a new car, share with family, and then save the remainder.

Players have won more than $39 million playing Lady Luck 777, which launched in August 2025. Each $10 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $10 up to $1 million. More than $7 million in prizes remain, including one $1 million top prizes and 118 $1,000 prizes.
