Dancing dreams 300 by Corinne Vivian.

The Village Theater at Cherry Hill is now accepting proposals for solo or group exhibitions for our 2027 exhibition season at The Gallery at Cherry Hill.

Both local and regional artists are encouraged to apply, and all media will be considered. The deadline for submissions is May 15.

Canton’s Village Theater, one of the premier performance art centers in southeast Michigan, showcases established and emerging artists recognized for their exceptional talent.

Artists can apply online at www.cantonvillagetheater.org for a solo or group exhibition.

Here’s what to submit

Submissions must include artist’s statement; no more than nine high-quality JPEG digital images; a list of representative images submitted; document artwork including the artist’s name, title, medium, dimensions and completion date of the work; and a current resume/biography.

All questions regarding the Gallery at Cherry Hill’s “Call for Artists” for the 2027 season can be emailed to Jennifer Collins at jennifer.collins@cantonmi.gov.

Artists are ineligible to apply if they have had a solo exhibition at the Gallery at Cherry Hill within the last five years.

Participation in Group/Collaborative shows does not disqualify you from entering. For more information, visit www.cantonmi.gov/418.

The Village Theater at Cherry Hill’s exhibition committee, comprised of local artists and art educators, will determine the final 2027 exhibition season’s schedule.

The Gallery at Cherry Hill, located in The Village Theater at Cherry Hill, is free and open to the public. Current gallery hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and Thursday and Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and during all public performances.
