Detroit Vegan, now in its fourth season, taking place on Sunday, Sept. 21, at Detroit’s historic Eastern Market.

This highly anticipated event celebrates and promotes the vegan lifestyle, featuring some of the best vegan vendor — including small-batch makers, food trucks, handcrafters, and local food organizations — filling Shed 5 and the surrounding outdoor space.

Throughout the day, attendees will explore a wide variety of exhibitor booths offering everything from mouthwatering plant-based eats to hand-crafted kitchen wares, body products, apparel, and other vegan-friendly goods.

Everyone’s invited!

Whether you’re a long-time vegetarian, a curious newcomer, or simply looking for a great time, Detroit Vegan welcomes everyone.

This free, family-friendly event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and coincides with other happenings at Eastern Market.

In addition, the sixth annual Detroit Foodie Fair will be running alongside Detroit Vegan and will include the popular Detroit’s Best Foodie Find contest, where attendees vote for their favorite vendor via QR code.

Variety of awesome vendors

The Detroit Foodie Fair  will serve up the area’s top vendors, including small-batch makers, restaurants, and hand-crafters filling Shed 5. An outdoor food court will also feature some of the region’s favorite food trucks.

Shoppers can expect to taste some of southeast Michigan’s finest food offerings and bring home a variety of scrumptious bites, hand-crafted kitchen wares, unique food-related goods, and much more.

Both events are organized by Mercantile Fairs, a visionary women-led team based in Detroit and Flint, known for producing curated retail and wholesale events that draw tens of thousands of visitors.
