Canton’s Goodlyfe so close to opening, foodies can taste it
In just a matter of weeks, Canton residents will be singing, “Welcome to the Goodlyfe“.
An 18-month-old healthy-food chain that has earned a sterling reputation for its amazing smoothies, Goodlyfe Manager Naz Algehiam confirmed Tuesday the Canton location at 6631 Canton Center Road (in the same plaza as Jacob Matthew Jewelers) is set for a grand opening in early-January.
“We love Canton as a location,” said Algehiam, who said the opening will happen once township inspections are complete. “We love the diversity of Canton. The smoothie industry is definitely growing and we’re proud to be a part of the growth.”
Goodlyfe’s first location was opened in 2020 in Belleville (6062 Rawsonville Road). Its second site was opened in Fraser (31298 Groesbeck Highway).
“Business has been really good,” Algehiam said. “A lot of people love our food. We offer healthy, fresh food that makes people feel better and live longer.”
Green Joy
Algehiam said Goodlyfe’s top-selling smoothie is its Green Joy, which features spinach, kale, apple, mango, pineapple, banana and kiwi. Priced at $6.79, the Green Joy contains just 556 healthy calories.
The smoothie menu is also populated by peanut butter delight, blueberry blast, crazy berry and island breeze, among several others.
Goodlyfe’s versatile menu offers kids’ 12-ounce smoothies, quesadillas, salads and wraps.
Online reviews of the restaurant are stellar on a variety of platforms.
