Think you can dance? Win $10K in Planet Fitness contest

Planet Fitness is calling all metro-Detroit area solo dancers to compete and show off their best dance moves.
One lucky winner will be selected to win $10,000.
Dancers are invited to submit a 60-second video entry on the contest page on WYCD.com, WOMC.com, 971Theticket.com, Alt987detroit.com or WWJnewsradio.com by Tuesday, March 31. Finalists will be chosen from all entries for a chance to compete at the on-site competition hosted at Planet Fitness Troy on Saturday, April 18.
60 seconds to shine
The on-site dance competition will consist of three rounds during which the finalists will have 60 seconds to show off their dance skills hosted by Jon Jansen from 97.1 The Ticket and Jason Raithel from 104.3 WOMC.
Performances will be judged by a panel of Audacy Detroit celebrity judges: Jackie Page (WWJ-AM), Stoney (97.1 The Ticket), Joanne Purtan (104.3 WOMC), Rob Stone (99.5 WYCD), Amanda (98.7 Alt) and Josh Holleman (99.5 WYCD).
There will also be special appearances by Hooper, the Detroit Piston Dancers and Detroit Tigers’ mascot, PAWS.
The ground rules
The dancer who makes it to the final round and showcases their best moves will win $10,000.
Dancers 18 years and older and Michigan residents are invited to enter the competition to “Dance Your Way to $10K!” All finalists will receive a Planet Fitness prize package consisting of a Planet Fitness shirt and a free one-year (12 months) Black Card membership.
Finalists will be notified by April 3, 2026.
The finals will be hosted by Planet Fitness Troy, located at 288 John R Rd in Troy.
