A Macomb County man carried a winning Club Keno ticket around in his wallet for three days before finding out the ticket was worth $270,716.

The 65-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous, matched his easy pick The Jack numbers – 01-05-41-42-45-57-69-70-75 – to nine of the 20 Club Keno numbers drawn in draw 2654369. The winning ticket was purchased at the Buffalo Wild Wings, located at 48 Market Street in Mount Clemens.

“I play Club Keno every time I’m out at a bar or restaurant, but I only add The Jack to my ticket if the jackpot is up there,” said the player. “I played a few rounds of Club Keno while I was at Buffalo Wild Wings and then bought a few tickets before leaving and put them in my wallet.

‘My phone started buzzing and lit up’

“Three days later, I was at a different bar and pulled the tickets out of my wallet to check them on the Michigan Lottery app. As I was scanning them, my phone started buzzing and lit up. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing when the prize amount of $270,716 popped up on the screen. I was so excited!”

The winning ticket

The player recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim the big prize. With his winnings, he plans to vacation somewhere warm this winter and invest.

The Jack is a Club Keno add-on game that players may add to their Club Keno wager for $1 per draw. With The Jack, players get nine easy pick numbers to match to the Club Keno numbers drawn. Players may win prizes ranging from $1 to the jackpot. The jackpot starts at $10,000 and grows until it is won. To win the jackpot, players must match all nine numbers.
