You never know who you’ll run into at Michigan Comic Con in Novi
From Apollo Creed to Star Wars icon Boba Fett, you never know who you might run into this coming weekend inside Novi’s sprawling Suburban Collection Showplace.
That’s because Motor City Comic Con (MC3) — Michigan’s largest and longest-running comic book and pop culture convention since 1989 — returns for the second time this year.
The lineup will feature actors from television, movies, and the streaming industry, along with the most-creative artists, writers, and comic book creators in the industry.
Celebrity fest
Motor City Comic Con will take place Nov. 10-12 at the Suburban Collection Showplace located at 46100 Grand River Ave. in Novi.
Throughout the weekend, celebrity guests participate in autographs and photo opportunities with attendees.
Attendees can also attend various panel discussions, attractions, events and explore various exhibitor vendors throughout.

In addition to Creed (actor Carl Weathers) and Boba Fett (Actor Daniel Logan), people who visit MC3 will have an opportunity to mingle with:
- Actor Dermot Mulroney, who starred in My Best Friend’s Wedding, Young Guns, and August: Osage County;
- Actress Loraine Bracco, who portrayed Jennifer Melfi, the psychiatrist in the drama series The Sopranos;
- Jim Cummings, who performed voice animations in Winnie the Pooh, Aladdin, and Princess and the Frog;
- Renae Jacobs, who voiced April O’Neil in the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series; and
- Actor Peter Weller, who starred in two Detroit-based RoboCop movies.
Along with the above-listed people, there will be hundreds of stars and creators on hand who helped make your childhood (and adulthood) more fun.
