‘Museums On Us’ offers free admission to Detroit Cultural institutions
If you’re looking for compelling (and free) destinations to visit in metro Detroit during this Saturday and/or Sunday, look no further than Bank of America’s “Museums On Us”, which offers free general admission to four top cultural attractions Feb. 4 and 5.
Bank of America credit and debit cardholders can visit four iconic Detroit-area attractions for no charge this weekend thanks to the unique offering.
The four destinations connected to the free admission program are: The Charles H. Wright Museum of African-American History in Detroit; the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Dearborn; Detroit’s Michigan Science Center; and the Arab American National Museum in Dearborn.
Unique connection to communities
“Bank of America believes the arts have a unique ability to connect people and communities, and help local economies thrive,” the financial institution explained in a release. “Through Museums on Us, Bank of America is able to provide its customers with free access to artistic and cultural experiences across the United States at celebrated institutions ranging from art, children’s and history museums to aquariums, botanical gardens, zoos and science centers.”
To receive free admission to the museums and science center, simply present your Bank of America, Merrill or Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) credit or debit card along with a photo ID during the first full weekend each month.
You are encouraged to call the museums or check their websites to confirm the hours of operation.
