Belleville’s Lower Huron Metropark celebrates new off-leash dog area

The Huron-Clinton Metroparks will host a grand opening celebration for the brand new Off-Leash Dog Area at Belleville’s Lower Huron Metropark Saturday, June 13, from 5-7 p.m.

In addition to building the off-leash area, the project also included improvements to the parking lot, redeveloping the path to the area to become universally accessible, native tree plantings, and the removal of old buildings on the site.
