MJR Theatres debuts 2 laser ultra formats in metro Detroit

MJR Theatres, a leading state-of-the-art multiplex cinema operator in Michigan, is expanding its premium moviegoing offerings with the introduction of two new Laser Ultra auditoriums at its Waterford and Chesterfield locations: MJR Waterford Cinema 16 located at 7501 Highland Rd., Waterford Township and MJR Chesterfield Cinema 20 located at 50675 Gratiot Ave.
The new screens have recently opened and further elevate the cinematic experience for metro-Detroit audiences.
Laser Ultra is a premium larger format (PLF) concept combining cutting-edge technology with luxurious comfort.
Super-size it!
Each new auditorium at MJR Waterford and MJR Chesterfield features a super-sized screen, 4K laser projection, immersive Dolby Atmos® sound, and zero-gravity heated recliners, delivering a truly next-level viewing experience.
With these additions, MJR now brings the total number of Laser Ultra locations in the metro-Detroit market to seven, reinforcing its position as a regional leader in premium cinema innovation.
