Wing Snob fast-casual chicken business spreading its wings to Plymouth Township

Founders of the newest fast-casual restaurant set to open in Plymouth Township is unabashedly confident you will like their food.

Which is why they’ve branded their business with the boldest of names: Wing Snob.

“These are not your average wings, but some of the best wings on the planet,” Wing Snob’s ads broast, er, boast. “With our hormone-free chicken, delectable flavors and our signature sauces, we know we’ll win over your taste buds.”

Western Wayne County residents will be able to judge for themselves in a month or two when the eatery (located at 41536 Ann Arbor Road) opens.

The Michigan-founded business currently has 33 locations either open or soon-to-open with an additional 100 on the drawing board, so if growth is an indicator, the restaurant’s food is bringing people back after more than one visit.

Wing Snob’s menu includes boneless and traditional wings, chicken tenders, cauliflower wings, desserts (including four flavors of cheesecake) and sides, including veggies, cornbread and pretzels & cheese.

There are also sides of “sweet” corn and “street” corn on the menu.

Among the 15 dipping sauces — many whose names are dripping with creativity — include chicken & waffles, snobby Q, Hot AF and Jamaican Jerk.

The closest Wing Snob to the soon-to-open Plymouth Township location is located at 28408 Five Mile Road in Livonia

Wing Snob is committed to opening 25 Michigan locations within the next four years, its website states.

While approximately 90% of its business is take-out, curbside and delivery, its restaurants also offer traditional dine-in seating.
