Westland woman among 5 with chance to win $1 mil in Electric Giveaway
A Westland woman is among five lucky Michigan Lottery players who have the chance to win a life-changing $1 million after being selected as finalists for the $1,000,000 Electric Giveaway.
The lucky winners are: Valerie Williams of Westland, Neil MacKenzie of Cottrellville, Kathryn Klein of White Lake, David Jennings of Oxford, and David Bridges of West Olive.
The five finalists will participate in the $1,000,000 Electric Giveaway live event which will take place at Comerica Park Friday night following the Detroit Tigers game.
Color my world
Each contestant will wear a colored t-shirt which corresponds with a color on the prize wheel. The color the wheel lands on will determine the winner of the $1 million grand prize.
Each runner-up will receive a $5,000 prize.
Players earned entries into the $1,000,000 Electric Giveaway by scanning their non-winning Electric Family tickets on the Michigan Lottery mobile app ticket scanner.
The finalist drawing took place on Aug. 26 in which the five contestants were chosen at random to participate in the $1,000,000 Electric Giveaway.
