Six P-CEP football players earn 1st-team All-KLAA honors

Six P-CEP football players earn 1st-team All-KLAA honors

Plymouth quarterback Logan Pheiffer ran for over 100 yards against John Glenn.

Six Plymouth-Canton Educational Park football players earned Kensington Lakes Activities Association All-Conference honors following their phenomenal 2024 seasons.

Plymouth, which won “The Park” championship for the third season in a row by defeating Salem and Canton, placed three players on the All-Conference team: seniors Logan Pheiffer, Cam Short and Joe Portman.

Pheiffer was a first-year-starting dual-threat quarterback who gained more than 1,000 yards rushing and passing. Short was a two-way linebacker/running back/tight end who — while rarely leaving the field — often made impactful plays for the Wildcats.

Portman was a standout lineman for an offensive line that led the way for a 2,000-yards-plus rushing season for Plymouth.

Jimmy Cleveland, Daniel Vigo, Nick Dekiere and Sage Hixson earned KLAA honorable mention laurels.

Moore, Turner pace Salem

Salem placed two difference-makers on the KLAA first-team squad: senior running back/defensive back Aidan Moore; and junior two-way star Nye Turner, whose offensive exploits included a one-handed catch in the P-CEP title game against Plymouth.

Moore was one of the most explosive players in the conference, accounting for multiple 30-yard-plus touchdowns and a 90-yard-plus kickoff return for a touchdown against Northville.

Salem’s Landon Garrett III, Luke Creighton, Curtis Crittenden and Drew Eisenbeis were selected for honorable mention recognition.

Canton’s lone player on the All-Conference first team was Alex Guadagni, who was the Cobras’ leading scorer on offense and a play-maker on defense.

Honorable mention honorees for the Cobras included Theisen Besco, Lemuel Pettway, Devvin Calhoun and Nick Parrish.
