Plymouth’s Fox Hills to host veterans-assisting PGA HOPE events

Plymouth’s Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center will be hosting PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere) later this spring.
PGA HOPE is the flagship military program of PGA REACH, the charitable foundation of the PGA of America.
PGA HOPE introduces golf to veterans and active-duty military to enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional well-being through a developmental six-week curriculum led by PGA Professionals trained in adaptive golf and military cultural competency.
All programs are funded by PGA REACH and supplemented by PGA REACH Michigan, so the cost of programming is free to all veterans.
Personalized instruction
PGA HOPE features a five-veterans-to-one-instructor ratio to ensure that instruction can be more personalized to the participants. Therefore, the programs are limited to a maximum of 10 participants in each session.
To allow for more veterans to join PGA HOPE, we ask that you do not register for more than one session.
Session 1 (there are only five spots left) is scheduled for Tuesdays from May 6 to June 11 (1 p.m to 2:30 p.m.) at Fox Hills, located at 8768 N. Territorial Rd. in Plymouth.

Session 2 (there are eight spots left) is scheduled for Wednesdays from May 7 to June 11 (1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.).
