 P-CEP volleyball teams to compete for District title beginning Monday

Canton, pictured above in its Pink Out match against Plymouth, will face defending state champion Northville on Monday at 7 p.m. at Northville High School.

Following solid regular seasons, the three Plymouth-Canton Educational Park volleyball teams will begin their win-or-go-home post-season runs beginning Monday night at Northville High School.

The District 23 competition will being Monday at 5 p.m. with P-CEP rivals Salem and Plymouth squaring off.

Monday’s 7 p.m. nightcap will feature the host (and defending D1 state champion) Mustangs taking on Canton.

Compelling district action

The Salem-Plymouth winner will advance to Wednesday’s 5 p.m. semifinal round against South Lyon, which earned a first-round bye.

The Northville-Canton victor will move on to face South Lyon East at 7 p.m.

The two semifinal winners will square off in the championship match on Friday at 6 p.m.
