P-CEP lacrosse squads well-represented on All-KLAA teams

Led by the student-athlete recently selected as the Girls Athlete of the Year in Michigan (Mileena Cotter), the Plymouth-Canton Educational Park’s six lacrosse teams earned several all-conference honors following the 2024 season.
Salem’s boys and girls teams both secured five All-KLAA selections based on the high finishes in their respective divisions.
The Rocks’ boys team won the KLAA East Division thanks to the significant contributions from all-conference players Sam Libbing, Ben Smigell, Bennett Duenas, Luke McClain and Andrew Sharp. Ivan Volinski earned an honorable mention nod.
In addition to Cotter, who broke the MHSAA’s all-time career goals record, the division runner-up Rocks’ all-conference honorees are Kaitlyn Courtney, Dani Denhof, Emrie Gay and Aubrey Kuhn. Emilia Muncy was selected as an honorable mention All-KLAA choice.
Last ‘Chiefs’ to be honored

The Chiefs’ boys team had four players make the all-conference cut: Jack Lockhart, Gabe Schmoll, Nick Parrish and Kole Stanchina (with Sam Kolodziej making the honorable mention list).
Plymouth’s boys team’s All-KLAA representatives are Cam Witt and Jimmy Cleveland, with Sam Plencner making the honorable mention list.
The Wildcats’ girls squad members to make the All-KLAA team are Jaclyn Schlanser, Ava Lemon and Maggie Kime, with Leena Saraswat making the honorable mention list.
Canton’s girls first-team honorees are Jordan Wetmore and Amina Melkic, with Carly Carpenter being selected for the honorable mention category.
