Northville’s Nori selected to play in MLB’s Spring Breakout

Dante Nori, a 2024 graduate of Northville High School, has been selected to play in Major League Baseball’s second annual Spring Breakout, set for March 13-16 at Spring Training ballparks in Florida and Arizona.
Nori, who helped lead the Mustangs to the 2024 MHSAA Division 1 state championship, is one of three Philadelphia Phillies prospects who will compete in the talent-heavy series of games. Nori was the Phillies’ first-round draft pick (No. 27 overall) in the 2024 MLB Draft.
Seventy-three of MLB Pineline’s top 100 MLB prospects are lined up to playin the 2025 Spring Breakout.

Nori is one of 18 2024 No. 1 draft picks selected to play.

Currently ranked as the Phillies’ No. 9 minor league prospect, Nori debuted last summer for the Single-A Clearwater Threshers, for whom he hit .240 in 50 at-bats. He scored 10 runs, racked up nine RBI and stole four bases in his abbreviated professional debut.
The 5-foot-10, 195-pound Nori also had a more-than-solid .424 on-base percentage.
