New Mexican restaurant just weeks from opening in Plymouth Twp.
The Don Juan Mexican Restaurant is set to open at 44763 Five Mile Road in Plymouth Township sometime in late-2024.
Plymouth Township’s smorgasbord of fast-casual restaurants is just weeks away from growing by one, SocialHouseNews.com has learned.
The Don Juan Mexican Restaurant (44763 Five Mile Road) — a sister brand of the Los Amigos Don Juan restaurant located at 19333 Victor Parkway in Livonia — is scheduled to open sometime in 2024; however, an exact grand opening date has not been set due to the uncertain timetable of the approval of permits (among other factors), a Don Juan spokesperson said.
Don Juan’s opening will add to the Five Mile Road (just west of Sheldon Road) shopping complex’s allure for foodies as it will join Mother’s Pizzeria and Bad Granny’s Barbeque.
“The menu will be identical to the Los Amigos Don Juan restaurant’s menu in Livonia,” the spokesperson confirmed.
Vast menu
Don Juan’s menu is abundant, featuring a variety of fajitas, nachos, seafood, steaks, enchiladas, salads and parrillada, which is a type of barbecue where different types of meat (steak, chicken and pork, to name three) are marinated and cook over a grill.
Don Juan offers happy hour daily from 3-6 p.m. The Livonia location is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The restaurant also offers a luncheon menu, a kids menu and vegetarian and gluten-free options.
Online reviews are close-to-90% positive as patrons rave about its fast service, generously-sized drinks and reasonable pricing.
