New Detroit Lions-themed lottery tix can make you ‘Super’ winner
The Michigan Lottery has partnered with the Detroit Lions to celebrate the start of the football season and give Michiganders a chance to win huge cash prizes!
Kicking off Sept. 3, Michiganders will have the opportunity to play three Detroit Lions themed games:
- Instant Ticket – The $5 Instant Game features more than $23.5 million in prizes, including top prizes of $500,000.
- Pull Tabs Game – The $1 Pull Tabs game features $1.4 million in prizes, including top prizes of $6,000.
- Online Instant Game – The online instant game features prizes up to $250,000.
“Coming off a historic season, everyone in Michigan is excited to see what the Detroit Lions do in 2024,” said Lottery Commissioner, Suzanna Shkreli. “I am very excited for our sponsorship and the launch of three Detroit Lions themed Lottery games, and we expect similar excitement for these games and the chance to win life-changing prizes up to $500,000!”
Longtime coming
The launch of the Detroit Lions themed games marks the first time since 2010 that the Lottery has offered a game featuring the famed football team from the Motor City. That year, the Lottery launched a $2 Detroit Lions themed instant game with top prizes of $25,000.
The Detroit Lions are coming off a historic 2023 campaign in which the team reached the NFC Championship game for the first time since 1991.
The Lottery also had an impressive year in 2023, posting a $1.3 billion contribution to the School Aid Fund, the fifth consecutive contribution of more than $1 billion.
