Makki magnificent in Dearborn’s big win over Northville

Adam Haidar lays in two of his 10 points in Dearborn’s 60-46 victory over Northville Tuesday night.

Dearborn senior 6-foot-6 forward Hassan Makki was a relentless force in the paint for the Pioneers Tuesday night at Northville.

He hustled after his own missed shots and deposited them into the basket, ran the court at full tilt to beat the Mustangs to the cylinder on multiple occasions and took advantage of a couple easy layups that resulted from quick ball movement and precision passing from his teammates.

Makki finished with a game-high 21 points in the Pioneers’ 60-46 victory over Northville after starting out slow with only two points in the opening quarter.

After falling into a 39-23 midway through the third quarter, the Mustangs kept battling behind the shooting of Nate Isiah Imbuzeiro and Andrew Payne, both of whom drain a few circus shots while combining for seven three-point makes.
