If your holiday wish list is topped by the desire to have a tastefully-decorated home without the accompanying DIY hassles, don’t ask Santa — contact Ho Ho Holiday Lighting, among metro-Detroit’s fastest-growing commercial-grade home lighting service companies.

Owned and operated by Sergio Pacheco, Ho Ho Holiday Lighting’s easy and efficient protocols will help make your home’s exterior decorations the envy of your neighborhood — and you’ll never have to worry about burned-out bulbs or sagging strands, let alone the treacherous adventure of climbing on your roof to attach the lights.

“One reason a lot of people like our business is because we save them the time it takes to decorate their homes for the holidays — and we do it with commercial-grade lighting that looks amazing,” said Pacheco. “The first thing our customers tell us once they see the lights lit up for the first time is, ‘We want you to do this for us again next year’.”

Decorating service industry booming

The holiday decorating service industry is expanding faster than Santa’s belly as an estimated 80 million homes in the U.S. were decorated by companies like Ho Ho.

“We make it easy for people to use our services, too,” assured Wright. “It’s as simple as visiting our website, filling out a short, informational form, and scheduling a time for us to come out and install the lights.”

“Depending on the design, we’ll have the lights up in two to four hours, max,” added Pacheco. “Once the lights are up, customers can schedule a time in January or early-February to have us come out and take the lights down.”

Another positive aspect of Ho Ho’s business plan: It owns the lights, freeing up storage space in your basement.

“And if a bulb does burn out — which is unlikely given we use commercial-grade lights — we’ll come out free of charge and replace it,” Pacheco said.

Warm white or multi-colors

Pacheco said by far the most-popular package for Ho! Ho! clientele features warm white lights; however, multi-colored packages are available.

“Warm white is a calmer white, which a lot of our customers prefer,” he said. “I’d say 97% of our clients chose warm white last year. That said, we can also do multi-colored displays and/or use LED lighting, which is a lot brighter. It’s entirely up to the customer.”

Ho Ho will also include holiday-themed accessories — wreathes, giant Santas or front-yard reindeer, to name a few — to their packages if so desired by their clients.

Multiple bonuses

The company’s lighting packages include a timer that will turn the lights on and off depending on the amount of daylight.

“And our commercial-grade lighting uses a lot less electricity than typical holiday lights,” he emphasized.
