Here are the top SE Michigan baby names for 2023
Approximately 30,000 babies were born at Corewell Health’s Michigan hospitals in 2023.
When it came to the most-popular baby names parents selected in southeast Michigan in 2023, there was “Noah” doubt about the No. 1 selection for new-born boys.
For the second consecutive year, Noah was the No. 1 name for males — at least among the approximately 30,000 babies delivered throughout the Corewell Health hospital system.
On the girls side, Charlotte edged out No. 2 Olivia to earn the top honors. Last year’s most-popular girls name — Ava — slipped to No. 10 in 2022.
Good number of Charlottes
Rounding out the top 10 boys names for 2023 were: Liam, Lucas, Luca, Benjamin, Leo, Ali, Theodore, Jack and Henry.
Following Charlotte and Olivia, the top girls names included: Amelia, Mila, Emma, Gianna, Isabella, Sophia, Nora and Ava.
