FUN FOR A CAUSE: Village Theater ‘Cabaret’ to benefit Relay for Life
Relay for Life of Canton and Plymouth invites you to join them for an evening of song, dance and entertainment at the American Cancer Society Telethon Cabaret, as they take to the stage bringing hope, healing, and inspiration to everyone affected by cancer.
This musical event will feature dazzling numbers from the full breadth of the American songbook, utilizing the amazing talent and dedication of singers, musicians, dancers, and actors from our local community.
The “telethon” will take place at the Village Theater in Canton on Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 7 p.m.
Fun fest for everyone
This fifth annual event consistently proves to be a crowd favorite and is perfect for the entire family.
With music ranging from Disney classics to musical theater, jazz to pop, and American standards to the music of the movies, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
The cabaret, under the musical direction of Village Arts Factory’s Community Program Director, Kevin Ryan, will include a live band as well as a cast of amazingly talented individuals and special appearances from some local celebs.
Vibrant dance performances
The dancers from DACE and The Dance Connection Studios will add to the fun with their unique and vibrant dance stylings.
Enjoy a delicious dessert and sweet treats bar featuring Cold Stone Creamery ice cream, while trying your luck at our Prize Pull, 50/50 drawing and more. A cash bar will be available for drinks and refreshments.
All proceeds and donations from the event will benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of Canton and Plymouth.
