Farmington Hills native chosen among ‘Top 50 Fearless Leaders’

Michigan-owned and operated Tomey Group announced April 29 that owner and chief compliance officer Christine Tomey Sullivan has been recognized as a Top 50 Fearless Leader by the International Association of Top Professionals.

It is a special honor that that only 50 of the world’s inspirational professionals are selected for.

This prestigious recognition honors individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, resilience and influence within their industry.

Christine Tomey Sullivan’s selection is a testament to her unrelenting commitment to excellence in compliance and business consulting, as well as her leadership within the financial services sector.

Multi-faceted leader

In her role as owner and chief compliance officer, Tomey Sullivan oversees a large team of employees across multiple locations.

Her diverse areas of expertise and responsibilities include human resources, payroll, regulatory compliance, talent acquisition, performance reviews, and health insurance matters.

Through Tomey Group LLC, Tomey Sullivan and her family operate 48 Jimmy John’s locations across Michigan.  She is also a successful entrepreneur, owning and operating TTD Enterprises, a premier real estate plaza in White Lake.

Tomey Sullivan manages an extensive portfolio of rental properties and Airbnb’s through Sully Homes LLC, and owns Cedar Oaks Lakeside Resort and Sully’s on the Lake, a renowned resort and restaurant on Houghton Lake.

Educator, Realtor, business owner

Prior to her career in real estate and restaurant businesses, Christine received her Bachelor of Arts in English and Masters in Educational Technology from Michigan State University, and taught English at North Farmington High School and University Liggett School.

Christine attributes her success to her perseverance, work ethic, the support of her family, the values they instilled in her, and the mentors who have guided her along her career path.

When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children. In the future, she intends to continue expanding The Tomey Group.

The Top 50 Fearless Leaders publication highlights professionals from across the globe who have excelled in their fields, often breaking barriers and setting new standards of excellence.

IAOTP’s selection process is bases on merit and is designed to showcase those who are not only at the top of their professions but also inspire others through their strength in leadership.

Christine will be honored at IAOTP’s Annual Awards Gala in December 2025 at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.

Along with her award for Top 50 Fearless Leaders, she will also be recognized as an Empowered Woman of the Year, which as an honor she previously received and will be awarded at this event as well.
