Craving chocolate? You’ll love new Canton dessert spot
There is a new chocolate paradise opening in Canton — and the entrepreneurs behind the sweet new business know what they’re doing.
The inaugural site of Chocolick, a dessert shop offering everything its name promises, is scheduled to open sometime in February in the shopping complex on the northwest corner of the Haggerty and Cherry Hill roads intersection.
With a menu coated with everything sweet — Belgian chocolate is the eatery’s primary ingredient — the business is the delicious idea of Hass Jomaa and Moe Elhamawi, who own a series of popular Big Moe’s Kitchen franchises throughout southeast Michigan.
Mouth-watering motto
Using the genius motto “Finger-licking sweet”, the business partners have designed the first Chocolick location by attending to even the slightest customer-satisfying details.
“The interior will be decorated to feel as if our customers are sitting outside,” Jomaa revealed. “We’ll have swings hanging from the ceiling, really cool wall art. It’s going to be amazing.
“The bottom line is, though, if you like chocolate — or desserts in general — you’re going to love Chocolick.”
Chocolate lovers will have the option of dining in — there will be seating for 20 to 30 people, Jomaa shared — or ordering out via the popular delivery services.
Elhamawi and Jamaa are also opening a Big Moe’s Kitchen directly next door to Chocolick. The expected grand opening is planned for later this month.
