‘Catch Me If You Can: The Musical’ landing soon at Canton venue
Based on a spectacular true story and the hit DreamWorks film, Catch Me If You Can: The Musical, brings Frank Abagnale Jr. (ex-con-turned-FBI-consultant)’s globetrotting escapades to
the stage for a show-stopping and entertaining experience April 21-23 and April 28-30 on the Main Stage at The Village Theater at Cherry Hill in Canton.
This high stakes, comically suspenseful story follows Mr. Abagnale Jr. on his quest to a life of fame and fortune.
Frank, a charming and witty young man takes after his father’s con artist ways.
His schemes begin small. After a turn of events leaves him at a crossroads, he decides to take matters into his own hands. He runs away from home, using a series of disguises and a million
dollar in forged checks to build the life he wants: A pilot? Yep. A doctor? Yep. A lawyer? Yep.
Compelling love story
He even falls in love through the process. Unfortunately, lies only grow and luck eventually runs out. Frank’s criminal activities catch the attention of FBI Agent Carl Hanratty, a hard-nosed
detective who will stop at nothing to bust Frank — even if that mean chasing him around the country.
Director Wendy Sielaff brings this vibrant and nostalgic show to life with a magnificent cast of 27 featuring Kolbe Pierzynowski of Brighton as Frank Jr., Bryce Ingersoll as Carl Hanratty, Carter Salata as Brenda Strong, Brian George as Frank Sr., Marylee Pierzynowski as Paula Abagnale, Jeffery Pierzynowski as Roger Strong, and Jessica Terlep as Carol Strong.
