Back for its 16th year, Canton’s Brews, Brats and Bands will return to Heritage Park on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 6-9 p.m., offering craft beer lovers and the 21-and-over crowd plenty of drinkable delights, tasty brats, live music, and more.
Preparations are well underway for this special event, which will be hosted by Canton Leisure Services and the Village Arts Factory, in Heritage Park, located behind the Canton Administration Building at 1150 S. Canton Center Road.
Sponsors of this annual event include Merrill Mueting Lyczak Group, Provision Senior Living, Schoolcraft College, and Sweetwaters Coffee and Tea.
“This popular fall event provides access to over 75 specialty beers, ciders, and seltzers in one location, which is appealing to both newcomers and seasoned beer aficionados alike,” said Kevin Ryan, Village Arts Factory Community Program Director.
‘Bound to be a good time’
“Any event involving drinking craft beers, eating brats, and listening to music with friends and family is bound to be a good time. Plus, proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Village Arts Factory, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is based in Canton that serves as a nexus for the arts, culture, music, and community engagement, as well as the Canton Cares Fund, which supports the Canton community by providing financial assistance to disaster relief, therapeutic recreation, youth and senior programs.”
Admission includes seven tasting tokens each good for beer, cider, or seltzer tasting samples, as well as two grilled brats of your choice (vegetarian option available), a snack from the pretzel necklace-making station, water, chili cook-off tastings, and a commemorative mug.
The tasty brats will be provided by Maraschinos Pub. Plus musical entertainment will be performed throughout the evening by Atomic Radio.
