The Canton girls soccer program will host its annual charity game Thursday in the Cobras’ two games against Plymouth. The junior varsity game will start at 5:30. The varsity game is set for 7 p.m.
Both games will played on the P-CEP’s east turf field.
The program will be donating proceeds from this year’s charity game to the Dynami Foundation’s Uncork for a Cure, with a memorial fund established in memory of Jennifer Bicknell.
Both of Bicknell’s children were Plymouth-Canton Educational Park graduates.
Bicknell was widely loved
Bicknell died at the age 55 in 2020 of breast cancer. Bicknell’s son, Chris, and her daughter, Ashley, attended P-CEP schools.

Bicknell positively affected everyone she knew.
“Jennie Bicknell lived a courageous life that embraced love of family and friends and the sheer joy of living, even in the face of adversity,” her obituary reads. “She lived every day to the fullest and inspired all who had the fortune of knowing her to do so as well.
“She was a constant reminder to all around her to live life to its fullest. To know her was to feel loved.”
