The new senior living community, located at 2195 E. Ellsworth Road in Ann Arbor, marks a significant addition to the area’s housing options for seniors.
Lockwood of Ann Arbor offers 154 independent senior apartments, with 65 of these units designated as affordable housing. This $47 million development is designed to provide high-quality, accessible living for seniors in Washtenaw County, addressing the growing need for
senior housing as the local population continues to age.
Range of amenities
The facility is equipped with a range of amenities that cater to the needs and interests of its residents. These include a commercial kitchen and dining area, offering three chef prepared meals daily, game room, arts and crafts room, barber shop/beauty salon, movie room, and
fitness/wellness room.
Spacious one- and two-bedroom apartments with private patios or balconies are thoughtfully designed to offer comfort and convenience, allowing seniors to maintain their independence while enjoying a vibrant community life.
