Annual Cherry Hill Village Festival provides fun for entire family
Canton’s Cherry Hill Village will be the centerpiece for family fun Aug. 26 and 27 when the area’s crossroads are closed off for a festival featuring food, music and art.
The third annual Cherry Hill Village Festival will showcase events that should bring a smile to the faces of everyone in your family.
Everything from food trucks to live entertainment — with plenty of face painting, kids’ activities and over 40 local vendors selling cool art, crafts, concessions, and home goods — will be available over the two-day event.
Presented by the Village Arts Factory, Canton Leisure Services, and the Canton Chamber of Commerce, this year’s festival will be sponsored by American 1 Credit Union, Canton Preparatory High School, and Jacob Matthew Jewelers.
Festival hours are Saturday, Aug. 26 from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 27 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Multiple music venues
Live entertainment will be held on two stages: the Village Arts Factory stage, located at 50755 Cherry Hill Road; and the Canton LIVE Stage, located on the corner of Ridge and Cherry Hill Roads.
Among the featured musicians are Detroit Jazz legend Kimmie Horne and Ann Arbor’s Blue Ensemble.
Additional performers include The Cherry Bombs and the Swing City Big Band.
The Canton LIVE Stage will feature performances by the Tequila Mockingbirds, Mad Mad World Band, The Kilk Band and the Rick Lieder Band.
