$1.05 million lottery ticket purchased at Westland’s Maple Drugs

A Michigan Lottery player won $1.05 million thanks to a ticket purchase at Maple Drugs in Westland.

The numbers 02, 10, 13, 24, 29 and 46 made a resident of southeast Michigan an instant millionaire earlier this week.

The winning Lotto 47 player bought their $1.05 million ticket at Westland’s Maple Drugs, located at 1949 Wayne Road.

It was the second time in a week a Michigan Lottery player became a millionaire playing Lotto 47. On Nov. 27, a lucky player won $2.86 million thanks to a purchase he or she made at the Coit Libation Station in Grand Rapids.

Lotto 47 game ‘red hot’

“Cold weather may have arrived, but the Michigan Lottery’s Lotto 47 game has been red hot,” said Lottery Commissioner Suzanna Shkreli. “Congratulations to the two lucky players who became Michigan’s newest millionaires this week!”

Lotto 47 tickets are valid for one year from the date of the drawing.

Each Lotto 47 play is only $1. Players select six numbers from one to 47 for a chance to win a jackpot starting at $1 million and that grows until someone wins it.

For an additional $1 per play, Double Play may be added to a Lotto 47 ticket, giving players a second chance to win up to $1.5 million in the nightly Double Play drawing.
